Schedule A

Fees

These are flat fees for legal services. USPTO filing, search, examination, and issue fees are separate and are billed at cost. Every engagement is confirmed by a written fee agreement before work begins.

General business counsel (hourly)$275 – $350

Why the fees are published

Publishing the schedule makes the cost of the work predictable before anyone signs anything. A client can budget a filing program without a call, compare the firm against alternatives on the same terms, and avoid the standard experience of an invoice that arrives larger than the conversation suggested.

Flat fees also remove the incentive to inflate hours. The time a matter takes is my problem, not the client's, which keeps the focus on the quality of the application rather than the length of the ledger. Where the work genuinely cannot be scoped in advance — diligence, restructuring support, ongoing counsel — it is billed hourly at the rates above.
